Celebrating Writing

In Year 6 , the children have been enjoying reading the book 'Goodnight Mister Tom' as part of our learning of World War 2. The children have been focusing on inferring character's thoughts, feelings and motives and have considered how they change and develop throughout a text. 

 

Last week, the children were given the task of writing a letter from a character's perspective which would give the reader an insight into their thoughts and feelings.
